My Story
I got injured in a martial arts competition years ago. Took a hard blow to the back and ended up with chronic pain that forced me to stop training entirely. As a lifelong martial artist, that was brutal.
I did what everyone does. Doctors. Imaging. Pills. PT. Nothing worked.
Eventually I found an acupuncturist who fixed me and changed my life.
But here's the part that stuck with me – I found him by accident. He wasn't ranking on Google. No polished website. Just exceptional at his job.
Great providers are often bad at marketing. That gap always bothered me.
That's the problem we're solving.
Background
Healthcare marketing is a trust problem. Patients need to believe what they're reading. Search engines need to believe you're authoritative. Providers need marketing that actually represents who they are.
I've built products people trust with their money (Monzo US) and their lives (Cruise). And products that scale (Uber, AI marketing products).
Halcy brings it all together – applied to the problem that's bothered me since I found that acupuncturist by accident.
The Mission
Help patients find the right care and help providers reach the patients who need them.
Healthcare information asymmetry has real consequences. Patients make worse decisions when they can't find accurate information. Providers can't help patients they never reach.
That's the future search is moving toward. We're building the infrastructure to make it real.
